Effective from Sep 1, 2023 Amends Sections 406.013, 406.014 and 406.024 of the Texas Government Code specifies the maximum fees for an official act performed by a notary public
proof of any deed or other instrument in writing, for registration, including certificate and seal:
$25 & UP(within 1-25mile radius) Example: if traveling within 5-mile radius, notarization charge for one document and one person will be $35, (i.e. $10 notarial act for one person, one document + $25 traveling fee).
Example: if an online notary notarizes the signature of one person, one document the charge will be $31; (i.e. $6 notarial act for one person, one document + $25 online fee).
Express Mobile Service is a discounted travel charge during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) to meet you within 10miles, for 0 – 30 minutes of service. This charge is separate from Texas Notary Fees
Appointments for Express/Standard Mobile Service are scheduled for 0 – 30 minutes (unless otherwise noted in the estimate or invoice). Appointments extending beyond the scheduled time will incur a $15.00 surcharge, applied at the beginning of each additional 15-minute increment. This charge is separate from Texas Notary Fees
Mileage Surcharge (>10 miles) per mile – one way $2.00
A mileage surcharge is applied when a customer-Charged at $2.00 per mile (one way). and anything above 20miles will be $3.00/mile
This charge is separate from Texas Notary Fees.
